Conferences are to entrepreneurs as shopping sprees are to ladies; every now and then, we find ourselves in some form of conference, seminar or networking event, interacting with folks from diverse backgrounds and in various industries. 2010 would be an "events' year" for Techsailor as we unleash the idea of Online Customer Engagement to the business world and establish our niche in the vast Internet business.

From March 5 - 7, Techsailor attended and also had a booth at Innovfest (http://innovfest.sg/, http://tcf.sg/, http://innovfest.sg/tec/) which constitutes Technology Commercialization Forum (TCF) and The Enterprise Connection Dinner (TEC). The focal point of this event is on marrying research and development to the go-to-market; many brilliant innovations stay in the lab or gets little to no visibility due to reasons such as lack of publicity and possibly failure to address a real pain.

This event was the first time we printed a standing banner and brochures in addition to just giving out business cards. From this event, We've had some nifty exposure and a good number of solid contacts to follow up on.

Whilst penning this blog, I thought of the "nirvana-istic" event for Techsailor to be in and did a quick search: Customer Experience Management Conference - Building the Customer Connection (http://www.conference-board.org/conferences/conference.cfm?id=2028)

Yes.. if we do get such events in Asia Pac; or perhaps... we can prime one here in Singapore. :)
